To ensure the stable and safe operation of the mechanical garage, and to improve the overall performance of the garage, safety protection measures must be taken at all stages: for example, in order to avoid the phenomenon of the lifting platform falling due to sudden power failure, the main motor needs to be equipped with power-off and braking; in order to appropriately reduce the lifting torque of the main motor, counterweights should be added, and so on. In addition, the following protections are provided on this basis:
1. Protection components
In the control system of the stereo garage, in addition to increasing protection measures in the internal program of PLC, due to the direct connection of the external output interface of PLC with the coils of relays and contactors, protective components should also be included in the circuit connecting PLC with external devices to prevent malfunction caused by poor contact, and high-performance control relays should be selected.
2. External protection
In the three-phase main circuit, automatic air circuit breakers, isolation transformers and other external protective components are added to achieve circuit protection such as power failure, overload, short circuit, phase loss, and phase break, to prevent interference from the power supply and to provide timely protection for the system, thereby extending the service life of the mechanical garage equipment.
3. Parking protection
When the car has not entered the garage or parking space, the system will stop any operation. The number of times can be set, and if the set number of times has not been parked in place, the system will automatically enter a protection state and stop operation. Emergency stop switches should be installed in appropriate locations, so that in the event of abnormal situations, pressing the emergency stop switch can cut off the system and stop operation in a timely manner.
4. Protection devices against human and foreign object intrusion
During the operation of the stereo garage, if a person or foreign object intrudes by mistake, the equipment will immediately stop running through the setting of infrared detection devices, ensuring personal safety and normal operation of the system. After handling the scene, press the corresponding indication button to restore the system to working state, and set limit switches on the device to increase safety guarantee and reduce machine wear.
The limit switches of the mechanical garage include stroke switches, limit switches, etc. There are limit protection switches for elevator fork lifting, turntable rotation, parking spaces, and car frame conveyors. When the module on the moving part hits the stroke switch, the contacts of the stroke switch actuate, changing the circuit, greatly reducing the operating risks and failures of the garage.
