What are the key points to focus on in the design of a mechanical garage

When designing the walking mechanism of the mechanical garage, the problem of overturning moment is considered. Walking wheels are arranged on both sides of the track to balance the forces they receive. The first consideration for the walking motion transmission method is the friction drive of the walking wheels driven by the electric motor. 1. Scheme design of rotary mechanism

The main force-transmitting node of the rotary mechanism is the active component during rotation, and it also needs to consider transmission while performing the rotational function. The structure’s outer circle has teeth and can be fixed with the inner circle, which can be fixed with the base. The rotary support can withstand a large overturning moment and a considerable axial force. The transmission of the rotary mechanism uses gear transmission. The gear ratio required for the worm gear reducer is large. The electric motor drives the rotation small gear through the reducer to engage with the rotary support to achieve transmission. The engagement between the rotary support and the rotation small gear can further reduce the speed. The adoption of the rotary support structure dictates the selection of gear transmission, which may generate significant impact for the unobstructed stereo garage. Because the vehicle platform is in a biased load state, the initial acceleration during a hard start tends towards infinity and can cause intensified platform vibration. Therefore, it is necessary to consider using variable frequency speed regulation to suppress its impact force.

2. Scheme design of lifting mechanism

The lifting mechanism needs to lift the vehicle and platform as required. The hollow square structure is used for the column, and a transmission device is installed at the top of the column. The first consideration is chain drive. Since the chain is unstable during transmission, and gear rack drive requires the electric motor to follow, which is obviously impractical, the design uses a hoisting mechanism. A dynamic pulley structure is used at the connection between the platform and the column, and a double rope drive is used, further reducing the required electric motor power.

Therefore, considering the overall situation, the gear rack drive is chosen for the walking transmission mechanism of the mechanical garage, which can ensure reliable transmission and high transmission efficiency. In practice, there may be rain, debris on the track, etc., affecting the friction drive of the wheels. Placing the gear rack in the middle of the two tracks also helps to further save space, greatly improving operational efficiency and safety.
