Suitable sites and reasons for using mechanical garages

For some communities, before entering the residential building, a steep spiral ramp is used in the community to facilitate vehicles entering the location above the supermarket or large market, which has also become a parking space for many people. However, during use, it is found that these ramps will encounter vehicles, and the space required for the ramps is relatively large. Therefore, many shopping malls or large buildings choose to use mechanical parking garages as parking spaces for consumers and employees.

When the mechanization usage rate was not high, some areas actually used automatic lifting equipment in underground garages to move vehicles. In the early days, in order not to affect the ventilation and usage of the underground location, the space of the garage was relatively large and the ceiling was high. To meet the needs of residents or surrounding personnel, the venue will choose to change the lower level to a two-level design, and use electronic lifting poles to move the vehicles parked below, changing the available parking space.

This approach initially addressed the problem of insufficient parking space, but during the process, many vehicle owners encountered problems when retrieving their vehicles. When vehicles below did not leave, there was difficulty in retrieving or parking vehicles above. Some areas considered this problem, but did not pay attention to the potential difficulties in maintenance of the underground location. If the community needs to withdraw or move the parking spaces later, the cost of moving equipment into the lower area may be much higher than in other areas, which has led many people to have a different understanding of parking in mechanical garages.

Compared to communities, the possibility of using mechanical vehicles in shopping malls or large venues is relatively high. This type of garage looks relatively simple and industrial from the outside, and has a significant difference from most communities. For communities, there is already a relatively long time for the owners to consider the number of parking spaces before entering, and the number of spaces needed later does not need to be met through mechanical garages. However, for shopping malls, they can collect corresponding service fees by parking vehicles. If the quantity is insufficient, they can also add parking space in the garage.
