Choosing to use a three-dimensional parking garage to assist drivers
For people, after learning to drive, if there is no opportunity to practice, the original skills will gradually be lost. Some people may choose to buy a car for travel after obtaining a license, but for those who have been driving for a relatively long time, parking is much more difficult than driving. From open parking lots to surface parking to underground parking garages, the availability of parking spaces decreases as people own more vehicles. Before the emergence of multi-level parking garages, many people would choose to park their cars at home and take a taxi to reduce the time spent searching for parking spots.
Most people, before driving out, consider whether there are relatively short-distance parking spaces near the destination area. If such spaces are limited or the timing is not suitable, most people will choose to take a taxi or find alternative transportation. It's important to note that the inability to find parking or the need to park far away can result in not only time loss, but also additional expenses.
When looking for parking, some people may temporarily park on the roadside to save time, but this poses the risk of fines. If they encounter other drivers who do not intend to leave in the short term, the difficulty of finding a spot also increases. However, for parking facilities, the cost of acquiring space is much higher than expected. In this case, the demand area can be moved upwards to create a multi-level parking area, allowing more vehicles to enter the space without affecting vehicle movement. This can also help operators increase their income. Some multi-level parking garages even collaborate with shopping malls, with exits set inside to encourage consumers to spend after leaving the facility.
In addition to underground spaces, there is also the possibility of encountering rain that prevents vehicles from moving out of the underground area, leading to water damage and the need for costly repairs or replacements. Multi-level parking garages, on the other hand, require shorter times for use and movement, thus avoiding significant losses due to layout modifications or rainy weather in urban parking facilities.
